Chimney Rock Winery is a fine wine manufacturer nestled on Silverado Trail. The Cape-Dutch inspired estate was started by the Terlato Family. They have 28 distinct vineyards on their property. Chimney Rock explores various grape varieties with different barrels and yeasts, and aging procedures, offering exquisite wines year after year. There are always tours and tastings available in their Stags Leap District Tasting Room. Chimney Rock is open 7 days a week from 10 am to 5 pm.

Another one of the Napa Valley wineries on the Silverado Trail is the William Hill Estate Winery. If you’re looking for wineries in Napa Valley with a view, the William Hill Tasting Room overlooks 140 vineyards. The estate is set on benchland raised a bit over the valley floor. The grapes are grown in volcanic soil and bask in the southwestern sunlight, creating sophisticated Bordeaux wines. This winery is also open from 10 am to 5 pm, seven days a week.

In the Calistoga region, there are over 50 Napa Valley wineries. You can learn the art and science behind wine making and tastes varieties of wines. Castello di Amorosa offers unique experience in a 13th century Tuscan castle. Learn food and wine pairs or partake in several events. When you visit this winery, you have roaming access of the two levels. You can take guided win tours with food and wine tastings with Mary Davidek in the Royal Apartment. Castello is open daily from 9:30 am to 6 pm March through October and 9:30 am to 5 pm November to February.
