First up for a great Napa Valley weekend is Ready, Set, LEGO. This family-friendly event is free. The fun takes place at the Lego Exploratorium at the Napa Valley Museum. Guests get to choose their own building project. The choices for the building projects include constructing a vehicle and taking it for a test drive, creating a Lego snow globe with mason jars or building and testing a bridge. If you are interested in getting to wear your Lego creations, then stop by the station where designers can create key chains, pins and earrings. This event is sure to be a blast for children. Make your Napa Valley weekend a creative one! The event takes place January 10th from 2 pm – 4 pm.

Another fun thing to do in Napa Valley this weekend is Saturday Crafternoons at American Canyon Library. This event honors Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and celebrates peace. Guests get to have some crafty fun by making dove dot art. The artsy entertainment takes place on January 10th from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm and is free. Fill your Napa Valley weekend with peace and creativity by attending this event.

Make sure to get some ice skating in this Napa Valley weekend. Napa on Ice is fun for all ages. This is Napa County’s only holiday skating rink, and it will be open daily through January 11th, 2015. The rink is located in gorgeous downtown Napa, at the corner of 2nd and Coombs Street. The outdoor ice rink features 5,600 square feet of real ice. Skaters will be able to skate in the brilliant sunshine during the day or under the twinkling stars at night. For only $12 per person you can participate in the fun; this fee includes the skate rental. There are also “Skate Buddies” available for beginners. Join your friends and family and make some icy memories sure to warm your heart at Napa On Ice.

If you want your Napa Valley weekend to be full of music, then the Mozart in Napa Valley concert is perfect for you. The event is in celebration of Mozart’s 259th birthday. Guest artists include Jassen Todorov, violinist, Adrian Borcea, pianist, Anna Combs-Johnson, soprano, and Dr. Kenn Gartner, pianist. The concert will take place at the lovely Jamieson Ranch Vineyards on January 11th at 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. After the concert there will be a wine reception with the musicians. This is one event you definitely don’t want to miss. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at door.
