40th Annual Kaiser Permanente Napa Valley Marathon
The Napa Valley Marathon (NVM) is dedicated to fostering and promoting quality road racing in an inspiring setting. Known as the “biggest little marathon in the West,” the Marathon has earned a reputation for outstanding runner support, attention to detail, and a beautiful point-to-point course.
Returning to the Napa Valley on March 4, 2018, runners can register now for the full or 5K marathon. From expert to novice, the Marathon has something for everyone.
Joining the 3,000 racers in 2018 is Joan Benoit-Samuelson, winner of the first-ever women’s Olympic marathon in Los Angeles in 1984. Long one of the pioneers of women’s running and a well-regarded spokeswoman for the sport of long-distance running, Joanie plans to attempt to set a world age-group record for 60-year-olds at the Kiwanis Club of Greater Napa 5K the morning of the race.
