This is one of the most exciting events in Napa Valley. From July 17 – 26, those joining in the festivities can enjoy some of the best offerings in culture, cuisine, music, and performance.
Founded in 2006, Napa Valley Festival del Sole skillfully blends the world’s finest classical, opera, jazz, theater and dance artists with curated culinary, wine and fitness pursuits. This festival will be a series of 60 different events in Napa Valley, so there are many ways to enjoy the festival fun. Each day of the festival offers its own unique and wonderful performance. Today’s opening events for the Napa Valley Festival del Sole are sold out, but you can still purchase tickets to some of the festivities for tomorrow, as well as later days.
On July 18th, guests can get up bright and early as to get their heart rate going at the 5k & 10k Sun Run at the Lincoln Center. Also still available for purchase that day is the 5 pm performance by the Russian National Orchestra. This renowned orchestra will be performing Beethoven’s 9th symphony and new choral works by Gordon Getty. Afterwards at 7:30 pm, Allegro Pass holders can head to the Allegro After Party at the Meritage Resort.
If you were lucky enough to purchase tickets for the July 19th events of the Napa Valley Festival del Sole before they sold out, you can enjoy either the Vinter’s Luncheon or the Neiman Marcus & Hall Wines Luncheon, as well as the evening’s Annual Festival Gala, which will feature a performance by Kevin Spacey.
The following days of the festival bring more events in Napa Valley to delight in. There will be luncheons and dinners with only the finest Napa Valley wine and food, plus sensational musical performances. Some of the phenomenal artists taking the stage will be soprano Deborah Voigt, opera star Ildar Abdrazakov, classical mandolinist Christopher Acquavella, Chicago’s Lyric Opera star Ryan Belongie, ballet star Ashley Bouder, jazz violinist Regina Carter and pianists Hyejin Kim and Mikhail Korzhev. There will even be Yoga in the Vineyard and an improvised play by the Impro Theatre on July 25th.
