Solage and Calistoga Wine Growers are hosting the 4th annual Calistoga Food & Wine celebration April 21-22, 2017. The weekend kicks off with a Friday night Winemaker Dinner prepared by Chef Rick Warkel of Calistoga Kitchen paired with local wines from Kenefick Ranch, Fairwinds Estates, and Canard Vineyard.

Please join us for a delicious farm to table dinner featuring the bounty of Spring perfectly paired with the incredible wines Kenefick Ranch, Fairwinds Estates and Canard Vineyard. You will have an opportunity to meet and hear from all three winemakers and learn why Calistoga is the home to so many great wines in Napa Valley. Dinner will take place it the cave at Fairwinds and will truly be an unforgettable evening. Price includes wine.

On April 22 is the Grand Tasting at Solage features tastings from 40 of Calistoga’s premier wineries as well as live cooking stations from local chefs. The wine tasting is a great opportunity to meet winemakers from small production wineries that are not open to the public. These exceptional boutique wines will be served alongside internationally known brands such as Chateau Montelena.

Cheers to Calistoga wine at the Grand Tasting event at Solage Calistoga’s Solstice Event Lawn and Barn. Surrounded by panoramic views of Calistoga, enjoy an afternoon of discovering the rich flavors of Calistoga wine with samplings from over 40 of the area’s premier wineries.

Small bites and live cooking stations will complement the wines being poured. Solbar’s Executive Chef, at the award-winning Solbar at Solage Resort, will host the program’s “Grand Tasting” event accompanied by local chefs from Calistoga. Calistoga chefs will include Gustavo Rios of Evangeline, Nick Montanez of Calistoga Inn and Brewery, Idan Sandoval from All Season’s Bistro, Reylon Agustin with Rosewood Sand Hill, Gina Carlin of Regina’s Heavenly Treats and Jamie Anzaloneof Calistoga Olive Oil. Additional participating chefs will be announced in the coming months.
